Dedicated to the memory of Chris Cherry
Chris died from pulmonary fibrosis which was caused by his rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Up to 40% of rheumatoid arthritics suffer from pulmonary fibrosis, and breathing problems are the second largest cause of death in sufferers. Unfortunately, researchers still don't understand exactly the link between RA and pulmonary fibrosis.
While treatment for RA has improved, treatments for lung disease have not.
It was Chris's wish that funds raised in his memory go to the British Lung Foundation, specifically for their research into and support of those with pulmonary fibrosis.
